Linville Gorge

The Linville Gorge is a 12-mile long, 1,500-foot deep scenic Wilderness Area. Ridge-top views into the gorge are accessible at Table Rock Picnic area off of NC Hwy 181, and Wiseman’s View of Old NC Hwy 105, a gravel road. Nicknamed “The Grand Canyon of the East”, the gorge is simply spectacular. 

Morganton, NC

There is so much to do in Downtown Morganton! There are great places to eat and shop, live music and open mic nights, local brewery’s serving craft beers, fundraisers and galas, yoga and trivia, and much more! Lake James

Lake James is a 6,000-acre clear mountain lake with scenic mountain views of Table Rock, Shortoff Mountain, (pictured) and the Pisgah National Forest. Lake James State Park is a natural wonder with hiking trails, mountain biking and a 600-ft swimming beach open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
